Floating Suction Unit

Description

Floating suction units are widely used in storage tanks for the transfer of fuels, oils, and petrochemical liquids

with a specific gravity below 0.9. The floating suction system follows the liquid surface level, allowing clean product

withdrawal while minimizing the risk of drawing in sediment, water, and other impurities.

Features

· Clean product withdrawal:
The floating suction unit keeps the fuel inlet positioned just below the liquid surface, automatically following

changes in tank level to ensure the extraction of the cleanest possible product while avoiding sediment and

water at the tank bottom.

· Automatic contamination prevention:
When the specific gravity of the stored liquid increases by approximately 10%, the suction process automatically

stops and the inlet rises above the liquid surface, preventing the intake of contaminated fluid and ensuring the

delivery of clean fuels and petrochemical products.

· Dual inlet configuration option:
The floating suction unit can be equipped with dual inlets to reduce flow fluctuations, improve suction stability,

and further enhance the quality of extracted fuel products.
